The sun shone for March 17th 2011 making our participation in two parades a fun day out for all involved!

DBASS annual golf day took place on 9^th September at Luttrellstown Castle Golf  Resort, Castleknock. We had sixteen teams enjoy the golf and the beautiful weather. The scoring was impressive with Paul Grimes, Margaret Melican and Mark Rooney coming out on top. We had a beautiful meal followed by presentation of prizes. Thanks to all involved.

DBASS annual golf day took place last Thursday, 17^th September at Knightsbrook Golf  Resort, Trim. We had eighteen teams who enjoyed the lovely weather which made for a great day. A great night was also had in the clubhouse where we had a beautiful meal followed by presentation of prizes. The winning team marshaled by James Costello from Bank of Ireland had a score of 90 points.

DBASS went to the dogs at Harolds Cross Stadium last Friday 27th February in support of St Joseph and The Helpers a wonderful charity who are raising funds for their orphanage project at  Mother’s Village in Medjugorje. Their Charity Night last year was a huge success! We raised €63,000 for the construction of St. Joseph’s Hall at Mother’s Village. Thank you to everyone who very kindly donated both then and now. Dermot  is a director of the charity and along with the other directors visit these projects personally. All expenses of the charity are funded personally by the directors, including travel, accommodation and all day to day expenses. Therefore 100% of donations go to the charity.

DBASS annual golf day took place last Wednesday, 10th September at Knightsbrook Golf  Resort, Trim. We had sixteen teams brave the elements for a great day. The warmth of the clubhouse was welcome though an after watching Ireland soccer team in action we had a beautiful meal followed by presentation of prizes. Thanks to all involved.
