DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the delivery of high-quality commercial tax advice and service to clients
- Bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm.
- Deliver tax insights that help business leaders to make confident business decisions
- Advise clients on business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, cross border expansion, financing, tax audits etc
- Produce reports and presentations for clients
- Engage with Revenue on client matters
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Advise on all tax matters for clients across all tax heads.
- Keeping up to date with all tax issues, changes etc.
- Ensuring tax compliance across a range of international clients.
- Involvement in business development and creating new wins for the business.
- Assist in the billings of clients.
- Build a strong team and support junior members of staff and help them develop
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Meeting potential new clients;
- Development of “tax products” for clients.
- Review of client files to identify taxation issues and opportunities.
- Meeting fee targets.
- Assisting with developing firm’s image by the provisional of technical articles on Tax issues for internal and external publications.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE | TECHNICAL EXPERTISE |
· Relevant tax qualification · 5+ years general tax/accounting practice experience · An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Tax Standards · Strong experience working across all tax heads. · Experience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationships · Strong technical capabilities from managing and delivering complex tax projects · Enthusiastic team player and manager with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential. | · Sage · Taxpro · ROS · Excel (Advanced preferable) · DRIVE (Practice Management and client database) · Virtual Cabinet (Document Management System) · Microsoft Suite |
