Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the income tax function, including client liaison.
• Oversee and ensure timely payment and filing of all income tax returns.
• Review financial records and previous returns to develop effective tax preparation strategies.
• Verify client‑prepared documentation for accuracy.
• Advise clients on tax obligations and the tax preparation process.
• Identify tax‑related issues and provide practical solutions.
• Assist in developing tax strategies to maintain compliance.
• Manage communications with clients and tax authorities.
• Obtain required information regarding deductible expenses, allowances, and taxable income.
• Supervise trainees and ensure accuracy and compliance in return preparation.
• Communicate relevant tax legislative updates to management and team members.
• Perform additional duties as required to support the Tax Department.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Technical Expertise:
• 3+ years general tax/accounting practice experience
• Excellent knowledge of tax legislation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Sound problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Sage Taxpro, ROS, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
